Back from China

Well, I'm back from China and I think the jetlag is hitting me.  After experiencing so much in China, its kinda weird to be back in the states.  I had a great time though and was truly encouraged, challenged, and blessed!!!  Here are a few pics from the mission trip (Pics bigger now...no need to strain anymore ):

One of the first things I noticed about our hotel in Korea...I had to try it...interestingIMG_0003

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

So after months of preparation its finally time to go China.  It'll be my first time there and I'm excited to see God move in amazing ways.  I'm not totally sure what to expect, but I'm looking forward to the experience.  Maybe I'll even try and take a bunch of pics for once.  I'm also kinda excited for my one day layover in Korea.  After hearing about all the good food there, I'm going to do my best to try a few places in a short amount of time.  See ya all when I get back!!!

HP...End of an Era

Wow, finally finished the book.  Everyone else finished it in like 1 day, but I wanted to try and drag it out knowing it was the last.  Kinda bitter sweet that its now over...but atleast it ended with a bang!!!  Now I can atleast discuss with the other HP fanatics.  Still remember the first time picking up the book and thinking this is sooooo dorky...then not being able to put the book down...the 1st banquet...letting people like illmitch and ogbehkoptuhl know and being called a dork, but then watching them go through the same process to where they even create their own quidditch teams....haha, good times.

Maybe they'll start a new series with the children.....

"Road Trip" and "More than meets the eye..."

Just got back from another summer youth retreat this past weekend.  Got home around 3 A.M. and had to wake up for work at 6 A.M.  Needless to say, was pretty tired.  Luckily, most of the office was empty today...would have been pretty embarrasing if they would have saw me almost tumble out of my chair after dozing off....

Some highlights:

-4 hr drive to the retreat....in Olympia...no good

-Sunny weather...good

-Meeting new ppl from a church in Oregon...good

-Guest speaker (James Kim)...good

-Preparing snacks for 300 kids...no good

-Panty hose game...always good (Pic from silly sharon's site)

-Playin football...good

-Sore the next day...no good

-Skits and Music Videos...surprisingly good . "Shape of my Heart", "David and Goliath", rank up there with some of the best

-Fellowship, acceptance, repentance, etc...GOOD!!!

"Tranformers"

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!  Thoroughly enjoyed this movie...Long but didn't seem long...slight variations from the cartoon series...but highly entertaining.  Go watch if you can!!!
